iBiz Professional Überblick

Hinweis: Am 4.

I've been using iBiz for probably 6 or 8 years and I hate it and feel trapped, but I'm now going to bite the bullet and migrate to different billing software. If it worked, it would be OK, but it often freezes at least for a minute or two of the spinning beach ball, after which it sometimes crashes and sometimes continues on, but basically it is very unstable. When ever I make a change in the Address Book entry of one of my clients, it will crash iBiz. I've had client records switch to other clients. Tech support is nonexistent. I try to be in conversation with IGG, and they make promises, but have no solutions. My recommendation is clearly to stay away from iBiz.

Let me just say that forcing me to use my Address Book to enter a client is an immediate deal breaker for me. Study OMNI Group software. They understand the need to remove dependencies on Apple software. Allow the "option" to, but don't force me please.

I've been using iBiz (and its predecessors) for years. I've been through version one through this current beta, and the versions keep improving. This version - even though is still in beta - is incredibly build, stable, and ready for prime time. The revised invoicing section opens up a side of the program that was previously closed. While the choice of client specific billing versus project specific billing may seem to be a unique one, the billing side makes logical sense. I would never give money back on one project while another project was owing. i've been running a law office of five attorneys and support staff on this for years, and I have found it to be a wholly reliable program. I reccomend it to my clients and my colleagues without reservation. Good job!

I've had a less the glowing three month experience with iBiz Server. It's annoyed my company so much that I took about an hour to write about it. In short it has lost, time, created incorrect invoices and done some really dumb stuff. Read on at: http://voice.firefallpro.com/2005/12/problem-with-ibiz.html.

This is nice software. Would be excellent if there were a web interface in addition to the client. Would make this cross-platform and immediately a lot more useful. Good work, though.
